Fall Adult Women’s Roller Hockey League
Be part of history and join the inaugural season of the FXBG Hockey Adult Women’s Roller Hockey League!

Season Starts: September 13, 2026 (10 Games- Weekly)
Location: Dixon Park Rink
Game Days: Sunday Morning/afternoon
Games consist of three (3) 15-minute periods and typically last about 1 hour.

Skill Level
This league is designed for:
Beginner & Novice players looking to get back into hockey and knock off the rust.

Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment continuing to grow women’s roller hockey in Fredericksburg.

To help create balanced teams, there will be a:
Player Evaluation/Scrimmage
Saturday, September 5th (later afternoon/evening time TBD)

Inaugural Women’s League Jerseys

 All players will receive an official FXBG Women’s League jersey.

Register by 7/31 to guarantee your requested jersey size.
We will order extra jerseys, but requested sizes cannot be guaranteed after the deadline.

Helmet
Roller Hockey Skates

Elbow Pads
Knee/Shin Guards

Girdle pants - Recommended

AAU Membership Required
All players must be registered with AAU Hockey for insurance purposes. The AAU Membership year runs from September 1 to August 31. During the fall league registration process, if you do not currently have a member ID please input "N/A". Then please mark your calendar to register on Sept 1st for the next year's coverage. We will review everyone's membership ID's before first games 9/13. We will send a friendly reminder as we get closer. AAU Registration Website: https://aausports.org/Join-AAU. 2026 Fall Youth Roller Hockey - Fall 2026

The 2026 Fall Youth Roller Hockey season is a 10 week program with 8 regular season games and 2 play off games. The first team practices will start on September 12th with the first official games the following weekend, September 19th.  All games will be played on Saturdays at Dixon Park beginning at 8AM. Games consist of three (x15) minute periods lasting about 1 hour.  Most teams usually practice once a week during the weekdays (once assigned to a team, your coach will reach out to you about practice times.) Players will be divided up by age group and assigned to teams based on skill in order to achieve a well balanced league.  Age divisions will be 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U/18U (depending on the number of registered players). 8U is a developmental format which consist of starting as a practice then scrimmaging for the remainder 1 hr time slot. Each player will receive a jersey that is theirs to keep and a prize at the end of the season.

Required equipment is an HECC certified helmet with face cage, hockey gloves, Knee/shin pads, elbow pads, skates, stick, athletic cup, and water source. Coaches will be paired with their children and siblings of the same age will be assigned to the same team. Team and friend requests will not be honored in order to maintain balanced rosters. Please contact us if you have an extenuating circumstance and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you need equipment, we can also outfit you with the required gear free of charge. If you need assistance with the league fees, please reach out to us and we will work with you to get it taken care of. 

Goalies play for free. Please choose the goalie enrollment by age option when registering.

All players are required to be registered with AAU for insurance purposes. Your AAU number will be required during the registration process. Weather delays, cancellations and other news will be sent via email, posted on our social media, and via our app. If you don't have it yet, please download the Team Sideline app once you register. Once teams are assigned, you will be able to see your team roster, schedule and other important info.

• Competitive Division - This division is for those individuals that are competitive.  Skill A - C
• Recreational Division- This division is for a more laid back skate. Skill ranges from beginner to experienced player wanting to knock of the rust

Adult Learn 2 Play Hockey - Summer 2026

Adult Learn to Play Hockey (4-Week Session)

Ready to try hockey for the first time or build your confidence on the rink? Our Adult Learn to Play Hockey program is the perfect starting point for beginners looking to learn the fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment.

This 4-week session is designed specifically for adults with little to no hockey experience. We’ll focus on developing the basic skills needed to get you comfortable and game-ready, including skating, stickhandling, passing, and positioning.

Dates: Saturdays, Aug 1st – Aug 22, 2026
Time: 11AM – 12PM
Cost: $36 for full 4-week session

Equipment Required - Participants must provide their own equipment

• Skates
• Stick
• Helmet (cage recommended)
• Elbow pads
• Gloves
• Knee/Shin guards

 Who Is This For?

• Brand new players with no experience
• Adults looking to learn the game in a low-pressure setting

Summer Pick Up Sessions (Weekly) - Summer 2026

Join Our Free Summer Pick-Up Hockey Sessions!

We are thrilled to announce that FXBG Hockey is offering free pick-up hockey sessions this summer! These sessions are open to the public and provide a fantastic opportunity for players of all ages to enjoy the sport in a fun and friendly environment.

What Are Pick-Up Hockey Sessions?

Pick-up hockey are unorganized/unsupervised individual practice sessions that usually turn into informal games where players can come together, form teams on the spot, and play without the structure of a league. It's a great way to stay active, meet new people, and improve your skills.

Age Groups:

Sessions are scheduled by age groups to ensure a fair and enjoyable game for everyone. Check our Calendar to find the session for your age group.

Weekly (Starting 6/8/26 through September 7th, 2026)

Mondays: 18 & Under 7p-8p

Tuesdays: 14 & Under 7p-8p

Wednesdays: 10 & Under 7p-8p

Thursdays:  Adult Woman's 7:30p-8:30p

Fridays: Adult 6:30p-7:30p (Exception: Once a month there is Friday Public Skate, Check the Calendar)
