Charity Iron Man 4v4 Tournament - Winter 2024

Divisions: Elementary, Middle School, High School, Adult Silver, & Adult Gold. (6 team slots per Division max)

Each team has 5 players + 1 goalie (gameplay is 4v4 with 1 substitute).
11-minute games, running clock. Guaranteed 5 games.

Division Game Schedules

Saturday 2/8 (Morning Elementary, Afternoon Middle, Evening High School)

Sunday 2/9 (Morning Adult Silver, Afternoon/Evening Adult Gold)

If youth divisions do not reach 6 teams, games tentatively scheduled on Sunday could shift to Saturday evening. Once Registration ends, schedules will be finalized.

This charity tournament is all ran by volunteers, including referees & scorekeepers. We are excited to give ALL proceeds to Madison Hockey League (VA) & Asheville Hockey League (NC) to help rebuild their rinks that were destroyed this year from natural disasters. (Wildfire & Hurricane Helene)

Coaches or team captains are responsible for registering their team and adding their roster once registered. All parents for Youth and Adult players must electronically sign waiver before gameday.  Click here for instructions on how to add roster once the team is registered.

Learn 2 Skate & Hockey Classes - Winter 2025

We are excited to be in Partnership with the City of Fredericksburg Parks & Rec offering Learn 2 Skate & Play Hockey classes for FREE.

Every Saturday:  Learn 2 Skate 3p-3:30pm

Learn 2 Play Hockey 3:30p-4:30pm

NO CLASSES ON 1/25/25. CAPITAL'S INLINE HOCKEY LEAGUE JAMBOREE AT DIXON PARK!

(We also loan out hockey equipment for free, we are currently limited on skates. Please bring those with you!)

Improve your basic skills and knowledge of the game of roller hockey. Players will learn crossovers, stopping, stick handling, passing the puck, receiving the puck, & shooting along with other skills.

2025 Spring Youth Roller Hockey - Spring 2025

The Spring Youth Roller Hockey season is a 10 week program with 8 regular season games and 2 play off games. First official games will start on 3/8/25. Coaches draft will be held Feb 22nd or 23rd TBD, with first team practices on Sat 3/1/25. All games will be played on Saturdays at Dixon Park beginning at 8AM. Games consist of three (x15) minute periods lasting about 1 hour. Most teams usually practice once a week during the weekdays (once assigned to a team, your coach will reach out to you about practice times.) Players will be divided up by age group and assigned to teams based on skill in order to achieve a well balanced league. Age divisions will be 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U/18U (depending on the number of registered players). 8U is a developmental format which consist of starting as a practice then scrimmaging for the remainder 1 hr time slot. Each player will receive a jersey that is theirs to keep and a prize at the end of the season.

Required equipment is an HECC certified helmet with face cage, hockey gloves, Knee/shin pads, elbow pads, skates, stick, athletic cup, and water source. Coaches will be paired with their children and siblings of the same age will be assigned to the same team. Team and friend requests will not be honored in order to maintain balanced rosters. Please contact us if you have an extenuating circumstance and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you need equipment, we can also outfit you with the required gear free of charge. If you need assistance with the league fees, please reach out to us and we will work with you to get it taken care of. 

Goalies play for free. Please choose the goalie enrollment by age option when registering.

All players are required to be registered with AAU for insurance purposes. Your AAU number will be required during the registration process. All AAU numbers will be validated prior to assigning teams to ensure everyone is eligible. You can register here: https://aausports.org/Join-AAU. Our organization code is W3EYT4.
Weather delays, cancellations and other news will be sent via email, posted on our social media, and via our app. If you don't have it yet, please download the Team Sideline app once you register. Once teams are assigned, you will be able to see your team roster, schedule and other important info.

2025 Spring Adult Roller Hockey - Spring 2025

The Spring Adult Roller Hockey season is a 10 week program with 8 regular season games and 2 play off games, starting 3/9/25. All games will be played on Sunday afternoon/evenings at Dixon Park. Games consist of three (x15) minute periods lasting about 1 hour.  We currently run 2 leagues playing on Sundays.

• Competitive Division - This division is for those individuals that are competitive.  Skill in this division range from A - C. Games will be played after recreational division games.
  
• Recreational Division - This division is for a more laid back skate. Skill ranges from beginner to experienced player wanting to knock of the rust. Games will be played on Sundays starting at 2:30pm (if 6 teams)

Come join us for our 3rd Adult League LIVE draft event! Stay tuned for more details on Date, Time, & Location. Captains will be announcing their top 5 draft picks in fun fashion! Following the draft, there will be an opportunity to hangout with the FXBG Hockey Community. Everyone is welcome and invited!
